My career started in the Royal Australian Navy as a Marine Technical Propulsion (Marine Fitter/machinist) and served for 9 years. I then spent 18 years gaining invaluable experience in various companies in the hydraulics industry.

After that I spent more time at Rexroth and Hagglunds and other companies with a mixture of onsite education, hands on hydraulics and managerial roles.

I then moved on to TAFE to become a Fluid Power Teacher and have been at Newcastle TAFE for 11 years.

I am passionate about this industry and making sure that trades men are knowledgeable, that they are using current practice and safe.
